As said before, a masterful cartoonist uses inference to send the message behind the obvious. Find another cartoon which reflects your issue. Post your findings here. Support your opinion and analysis with research. Who created the cartoon? Why? What historical facts are being portrayed? Documentation, please. Support your opinion with research. Then, analyze other posts to see if they did this. Look for documentation. Look for evidence of research to prove a point. Include the URL so others can find the cartoon. Share with your classmates your poll based on the issue you have chosen for the semester. In order to do this assignment you had to: Create a survey to be given at the organization where you are serving. Or, due to roadblocks, share a poll which could be used on the topic of your issue. If you find a poll, please be sure to cite where it may be found. Your analysis must be included. Questions your classmates might ask about your poll might be in regard to:

Analyze a classmate's analysis of his or her cartoon and respond to his or her work for additional points. Pull down an element so you can insert your cartoon.
Consider the Preview Questions on p. 151. Then do research to find someone who has chosen one career but seemingly has another career similar to the example given in the chapter. Then write 250-350 words regarding your findings to the Reading Café. (This would be considered an Expository essay.)
Make a scholarly response to a classmate. Why is research essential in analysis of a study or question you may have? Make a scholarly response to a classmate for additional points. For this assignment, support your conclusion with intext citations and bibliography at the end of your work. For example, people, once again, saw something in the sky. The news media told us that scientists said it was a shooting star. Was it??? How would you possibly know???
After reading the story in Ch. 2 of your textbook, add your story about "My First Day" story. You should have written a narrative of 250-350 words. Remember to respond to the story of your classmates, too.
