A masterful cartoonist uses inference to send the message behind the obvious. Find a cartoon which reflects your issue. Analyze it. Post your findings to the Reading Cafe. Analyze a classmate's analysis of his or her cartoon and respond to his or her work for additional points. Pull down an element so you can insert your cartoon.

Sorry I am not totally sure how this works by bringing in images, but I will try again.

Christa, you made a very realistic analogy from a basic picture. I have been to the animal shelter in mesa and it is quite over crowded. I agree with you when you say that every donation is needed because the food bill alone has to be in the thousands.

Abel Valdenegro I agree with your assessment. Supply versus demand is not equal in bone marrow transplants. There are many people who need donors but people simply do not donate enough. I myself am guilty of this.

The BIG problem continues to be documentation. As stated in the first chapter of the textbook, if you don't give credit where credit is due, you are plagiarizing. You must document, document, and document again! That is the foundation of this class. Your opinion is good but can be better and considered important only if you enforce with documentation from the one who has given the information. If it is not original, you are plagiarizing.
